   About Us


We are 12 iMac computers (running MacOS Snow Leopard, Windows 7 or Windows XP), white boards, data projector and screen, available for hire or free community use.

A local non-profit trust, we received funding from the Department of Internal Affairs and other sources to assist local people without a computer or broadband internet at home, or the skills to use them, to better access the huge range of resources available on-line and using computers.

How?
Money received from Department of Internal Affairs and other sources to arrange space in Marton and Ratana, and purchase computers for community use.

When?
During 2010 - with taster sessions in May 2010 and greater opening hours since September 2010 when Managers appointed to each site.

What?
Civil Defence room behind Marton Library has been converted to three round tables with 12 iMac Computers, whiteboards, data projector and screen

Why?
Statistics that show that many local people do not have a computer at home and can't get or can't afford broadband internet. We are here to provide the equipment and improve computer skills so locals have better access to the huge range of resources available on-line and using computers.

Behind the Marton Library, on the corner of High Street and Blackwell Streets, Marton.
